Initial Enthusiasm

First we do it, second we don't,
Third, we stop coming to the phone.
Fourth, we close and lock our doors.
Fifth, we don't talk anymore.

We smile, say hi and say goodbye,
We fly, we fall and then we die.
At first we were flying in the sky,
Now we come crashing down, you and I.

We used to be the on top of the world,
Now the same world feels so cold.
We can't buy love but our love is sold,
But money can't buy love, I was told.

I was so happy then, and so were you,
We were together as one, not two.
But I don't know what things that I do,
And the same thing goes for you too.

We were able to talk about everything, this and that.
And we would text till our batteries went flat.
I luv u, n i like dat :)
We would text till our batteries went flat.

I could look to my left and see you there,
I could look to my right and feel you there.
I could know that you would care.
We would make a perfect pair.

At the start, we were shining like the stars,
Our paradise we fantasise was our class.
We were cruising even though we don't have cars.
We were flying hand in hand to Mars.

Sixth, we try to do it but it won't happen.
And we do this seven times a week.
Eighth, we talk but its by accident.
To me, its heaven, but to you its nothing big.

Nine, we do and then we don't.
We go back to what we were before.
Ten, ten, ten, ten...What? We won't.
Because there's no love anymore.
