When I'm Gone


We say goodbye, but don't really mean it.
We say see you later, but do we really do it?
When you're gone, I'll do anything to find you.
But when I'm gone, what will you bother to do?

When I'm here, I didn't change anything.
I didn't make you better, I just complicate things.
I'm sorry I didn't make things better.
I guess its just my screwed up nature.

There's this painful feeling in my heart,
Which I feel everytime we are apart.
But I think you're smiling in the dark,
Because I'm not there to screw things up.

There's no need to tell me the wrongs I do,
Because I know its my mistake for loving you.
But it's just so clear to me,
You're the only person I can see.

Tell me again why did you have to make me live for you.
Tell me please why did you have to do what you do.
Because thats just what I want to know.
But you're busy with someone else, so...

I should get the hell outta your life,
And let you be free to be another man's future wife.
So if you're feeling angry or sad just play this song.
Because you'll be happier when I'm gone.
