Angel of The Northern Lights
I'd like to make myself believe,
That you are not what you seem to be.
It must have been a long fall from heaven for you,
And you chose to land right in front of me.
Tell me why, why did you have to,
Change me from the person that I used to be.
I'm very afraid to lose you 'cause,
Nothing as good as you will happen to me again,
You're the one in a million gifts in all,
But comes with you a note which says "pain."
An angel is as an angel does,
You lit up my life with a thousand stars.
You reached out to me from afar,
And gave me a love-filled candy bar.
I have never seen your beauty shine so bright,
Just like a show of northern lights.
I want to reach out to you in the sky,
But you chose to watch me die.
You ran to the left when I went to the right.
You would hide in the day while I walked the night.
I'd never see a jewel this bright again,
But this very same jewel drives me insane.
You would run from me and into the night,
Beautiful angel of the northern lights,
When you said no, you broke my heart.
So I know you're nice to see, but not to touch.
