There's nothing wrong with pursuing one's own interests, but do remember its not just you who have interests.

Do have some respect for what other people have to say and share, since they also respect what you have to say and share.

It isn't a problem to be selfish, as long as you know the problem and work to change it.

What's the worst, is when that idiot does not even know his problems. Now that, is the real problem.

I have seen many things recently, and I am forced to conclude that this world is screwed.

Being a good person no longer brings you any rewards, because there are just too many bad people in the world.

And I know bad is subjective, but people are bad in any ways imaginable.

So don't bother about being nice, because people just won't return the favour.

Don't bother about appreciating the good times, because they won't even remember them.

They probably won't give a damn about the things you've done for them.

They won't listen to the things you are eager to share with a good friend.

They will just be absorbed in their own selfish fantasies, oblivious to the world.

Or even worse, influence the world with that.

What we can do is to hope for the change in their minds.

That's the only thing we can do, really. The world is being overwhelmed by the worst behaviours, mindsets and emotions ever known. And the few people who still possess a proper, sane, understanding, open, helpful, kind, nice state of mind are dying out.

Soon, there will be no one like that left. No fucking one.

We will be screwed.
