... listening to the rumble of the planes' engines after the violent thunderstorm, as they take off one by one into the blue, clearing sky, eager to get out of the runway which imprisoned them for the past hour. From my window seat, gazing out at the wet, dreary world, 5 takeoffs in just about less than 10 minutes from a single runway is something that I have never seen before. Permanent engine noise through my neighbourhood now. Haha
