Just A Coincidence
By Chen Wei Heng
Just somehow we glance at the same time.
At the same moment we look into each other's eyes.
Somehow your breath is in sync with mine.
And we get the same numbers when we roll dice.
We draw lots but we still stay same.
We get the same score when we playing the same game.
So we try to avoid, but our marks add up.
And we make the whole thing seem crapped up.
Somehow, our two hearts add up to one.
Somehow, your fate is chasing while I'm on the run.
Somehow, I try to run faster but I can't.
And somehow, we don't want it but we get it done.
I don't understand how we're always there.
Even though I try not to and you don't care.
Yeah, all of that is probably just coincidence.
Yeah, its just a thousand exactly same accidents.
I think too much, my hope's too high.
I try to understand that I'm living a lie.
But truth is, the lies sound so nice.
So for that I have to pay my price.
Its just a coincidence, people may say.
But little do you know that it makes my day.
Just a coincidence that you're a little too late.
Just a coincidence that we could go on a date.
Just a coincidence that we both happen to say,
"Just a coincidence. Just blame it on fate."
