Hey yos, it's been a while,
Since we last had a laugh or a smile,
But I just wanna let you know,
That I'll be waiting, even though I'm cold.
So just take your time, don't worry 'bout it,
Just remember what I've said,
Just a girl trying to protect herself,
And I don't want no half-hearted love.
So go on, go and do what you want,
I'll sit here and watch what I can't.
Just remember that if everything fails and you heart's in fear,
Just turn around, I'll be waiting right here.
Haha... And this is a promise. And you know I keep my promises.
Since we last had a laugh or a smile,
But I just wanna let you know,
That I'll be waiting, even though I'm cold.
So just take your time, don't worry 'bout it,
Just remember what I've said,
Just a girl trying to protect herself,
And I don't want no half-hearted love.
So go on, go and do what you want,

Ice
We're sittin', ain't no lookin',
Trying to make it work but it ain't workin',
We're side by side, but miles away,
I'm wondering if I can make it through the day.
The air's so frozen I can walk on it,
The floor's so icy I can skate on it,
I'm having hypothermia, get the emergency,
She's looking but she won't dial the number in.
We're standin' on the north pole, I need my coat,
I'm drowning in ice water, make me cold,
But maybe its the hope of your love keepin' me afloat,
You feel it but you ain't helpin', though.
So now we sittin' side by side,
We ain't lookin' into each other's eyes,
No words said to break the ice,
My silent tears frozen so I can't cry.
So we let our messages fade to dust,
Allow winter to come and cover us,
Stare at things falling apart, because
we doing nothing to salvage this love.
I'm forced to look at you drift away,
Through the white snow that we used to play,
This ain't Christmas, its doomsday,
So is this the price I've got to pay?
I'm just trying to give my love to her,
I mean no harm, I'm a peacemaker,
But it ain't workin' out, I'm not sure
if we can continue like this any longer.
So we sittin' side by side,
Nobody's talkin', no one's listenin'.
Our relationship has turned into ice,
I wish I can melt it back to the way we've been.
So we sittin' side by side,
But what use is it when it makes me wanna cry,
When you ain't lookin' down the row,
And I'm finding my courage but I'm not bold,
I'm cold.
Please end this pain, light the fire again,
And shield it from the pouring rain,
Let's save it together, its not too late,
So we can feel the warmth of our love again.
We're sittin', ain't no lookin',
Trying to make it work but it ain't workin',
We're side by side, but miles away,
I'm wondering if I can make it through the day.

Don't Give Up On Me
Daniel Powter
I don't know what I did
But I must have been a fool
I got no excuses
So I wrote this song for you
Whatever the reasons
did you come to say goodbye
I'm hoping for one more try
I wanted to change your mind
So I pick up the pieces
I swallow all my pride
I don't wanna wake up feeling this empty inside
Did it spin you around
Did it turn you upside down
I wonder when you found out I'm a waste of your time
So don't give up on me (don't give up on me)
I never meant to steal your smile
I haven't seen it for a while
Don't don't give up on me (don't give up on me)
Just try to understand
I can be a better man
I tell you once just don't give up on me
I tell you once just don't give up on me
And now I feel I'm out of place
I look for you on every stranger's face
I don't think I can do this any more
Don't think I do this any more
And every little things just falls apart
From the very first that day that I broke your heart
It only makes me want you more and more
Just like before
'Cause you spin me around
And now you turn me upside down
I never meant to be a waste your time
So don't give up on me (don't give up on me)
I never meant to steal your smile
I haven't seen it for a while
Don't don't give up on me (don't give up on me)
Just try to understand
That I can be a better man
I tell you once just don't give up on
Me and before
If you're not that alone
What am I supposed to do?
I tell you once just don't give up on me
Baby say you won't give up on me.

Loving someone that doesn't love you is like reaching for a star, you know you'll never reach it, but you just got to keep trying - Unknown
114
The topic is relationships: the successful, the unsuccessful and everything in between. Now I've only been an occupant of this planet for 29 years, but in that time I've seen the sunshine and the rain. I am a man that has gone thru the many levels of what it is to be a man. From the selfishness and greed that we as a species suffer from, to the realization that the world doesn't revolve around me and I'm NOT supposed to just get my way, to the being angry at that fact, to eventually accepting it and learning that it doesn't mean that I can't be happy. Because ultimately that's what everybody wants. Be it "for life", or "only for a night", everybody wants to be happy.I think happiness starts with figuring out which one YOU want. If it's "only for a night", don't run around getting into serious relationships, knowing all you're gonna do is cheat. If it's "for life", understand what that means and be very careful in your selection process. Gotta make sure the other person is thinking the same way you are.In theory this should be very easy to do, in reality we lie to ourselves more than we do to other people. Being honest with YOU is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, or another person. That honesty clears your vision. Now you know who you are, what you're into, ans where your head is at, thus making it a little easier to look for what you want. This is a topic that'll take much time to discuss fully, and I don't have a lot of free time as you all know. So let's talk again soon. In the meantime, strat with being honest with YOU, at the very least it's a step in the right direction.See ya on the road!!!

Fairytale
Once upon a time,
In a place not far from here,
There was the Good Guy, Bad Guy, and the Good Girl.
I'll tell their story in this rhyme,
Listen closely, its deeper than you hear.
The Good Guy and the Good Girl were together,
The two of them were the happiest couple,
They thought they could be like that forever,
Until the problems came, and they toppled.
They used to be sky high, touching the stars,
Holdin' hands, walking together to the moon and Mars,
They will meet each other after class,
Sittin' side by side after school on the bus.
But too young they were to cope with love,
This relationship ain't to be preserved,
This pain neither of them deserved,
It's a break-up on a platter they were served.
So now the Good Girl is alone,
She don't want anymore love, please don't,
remind her of the past, or think,
she's gonna accept from another guy a drink.
Now here, let's meet Mr Bad Guy,
He's evil, he's ugly and he tells lies.
But he just had this little soft spot,
It's in his heart, a tiny little dot.
He tried to make the Good Girl his,
And he had planned a long way for this,
The secrets to get to her he solved,
To win the heart of the girl he loved.
The Good Girl saw him coming, and she was scared,
But no worries though, she was prepared,
She's going to turn him down, have him sacked,
Until he lay face down on deck, and never come back.
Good Girl missed Good Guy, she wanted him back,
Wish they could go back to the days they had,
But first she had to deal with the Bad Guy,
Because she dosen't love him, day and night.
The Good Girl took a shotgun and aimed,
at the Bad Guy's heart, where its most pain.
Everytime he took a step closer, she fired,
0, 5, 18 bullets in his heart, that hurt.
Finally, Bad Guy stopped dead in his tracks,
Tried to reach Good Girl but he collapsed,
Laying sprawled on the ground, bleeding from his heart,
And nobody found him even after the day turned dark.
Bad Guy's out of the way, the path is clear,
Good Girl's heart now had no fear,
She ran back to Good Guy, once her dear,
And promised this time to make it last forever.
He blinked, smiled, then hugged and kissed her,
And they lived happily ever after.
But the story dosen't end here, you see,
This isn't how the ending's gonna be,
This world ain't a fairytale, you know,
Things like that are just for show.
Bad guys don't cry, we all know that,
All they do is things that are bad.
But hurting Bad Guy most is what?
Its the tears from his eyes, not the blood from his heart.

you know mrt beside the door got these 2 glass panel where ppl like to lean on de? well the door also got windows on each of them. so i was like leaning on one of them and looking out the window, and the person opposite was also leaning on the thing and looking out the window, and i noticed that the person was looking at the things which go past the window and past the mrt, and i was looking at the things in front of the mrt and coming towards me.
Some ppl look at the past and things they've lost, others look at the future and things yet to come.

hey yo wassup yall. Just come back from china few days ago, went for 2 weeks.
i wanna say that the trip is damn screwed, eat so much until i put on weight, a couple of kg sia
then everyday got some fren or relative must visit or eat with de, rush here rush dere then very tired sia
anyways at least got some fun part go beijing, go visit "historical" places like the forbidden city and the great wall place and got this night market sell what fried scorpions and bugs and things like that o.o
anyways come back got alot of work to chiong sia, holiday is all do work de -.-
i need go chiong work liao, but first i intro you some hot new songs i found

this is Fabolous, a great rapper i just discovered recently, he's been in the industry for quite long, and he makes great, original rap songs
Throw It In The Bag - Fabolous ft The-Dream (this song is HOT! you must check it out)
and
Make Me Better - Fabolous ft Ne-Yo
these are sick songs, so check em out
also check out his other albums, got alot of very nice songs
also check out
Missin' You, Can't Help But Wait, I Need A Girl, In Ya Phone and Brand New by Trey Songz
and trey is releasing new album soon, check it out
and
I Can't Hear The Music - Brutha ft Fabolous
You're A Jerk - New Boyz (now this song is not really nice if you keep listening to it, but it has a catchy hook and nice beat, and great to dance to)
also check out the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv9VKKXwVxU
everytime i upload youtube vid here will got problem de, so just go watch it yourself
i think the dance in the video is damn joke, especially at the 1 minute plus parts
anyways i just wanna talk about the song Make It Work by Ne-Yo, its quite old liao but just in case some of yall havent checked it out, go find it now. Its pretty nice and Ne-Yo's lyricism is simply excellent
You understand me
At least you say you do
Lately thats enough for me
Looking for perfect
Surrounded by artificial
You're the closest thing to real i've seen
Sure, everyone has their problems
Thats a given
Yours are the easiest to tolerate
This wasn't what we was wanting
How we're living
But let's take this good enough and turn it to great
Baby understand...
This can only be as good as we both make it
Guess sometimes its gonna hurt (yes sometimes its gonna hurt)
We can be as happy as we want to be girl
But we gotta make it work
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
Sometimes i love you
More than you'll ever know
Other times you get on my nerves (hey)
That's just reality
No, it can't always be
Kisses, hugs, and beautiful words
You was looking for your prince, ooh
What you found (wat u found)Is a pauper with potential
And no, i'm nowhere near perfect..NO
But i'm around (but im around)
Girl, time and patience is essential
Baby realize...
This can only be as good as we both make it
Guess sometimes its gonna hurt (guess sometimes its gonna hurt)
We can be as happy as we want to be girl
But we gotta make it work
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
We gotta make it work...
Ay oh ay oh oh
Thick and thin, (ooh)
The bad outweighs the good sometimes
That doesn't mean we're 'spose to give it up
My problems are yours, and yours are mine
This can only be as good as we both make it
Guess sometimes its gonna hurt (guess sometimes its gonna hurt)

Fingers crossed, I wait for you
Only thinking of what I should do
Rain or shine, I will walk by your side
Your hand I will hold even when worlds collide
I won't let anything else come through
Just one thing will do, let me love you
I promise to make this the best I can
All I ask for is one chance.
Fingers crossed, I wait for you
Only thinking of what I should do
Rain or shine, I will walk by your side
Your hand I will hold even when worlds collide
I won't let anything else come through
Just one thing will do, let me love you
I promise to make this the best I can
All I ask for is one chance.

Last Time
I remember last time,
I was there.
Were you?
Those days sittin under the sunlight,
You on on the left, me on the right.
I remember those days sittin under the moonlight,
Just you and me, 97' bonnie and clyde.
I remember last time, we used to say,
Hey, lets go meet up the next day,
We called that an outing, we called that a date,
We walked and talked till it was damn late.
I remember last time, together we were,
I'd thought that I could call you my girl,
I promised to take you out and see the world,
But what has happened now? All that was last time, duh.
Now all I can remember is last time,
Those smiles and laughs that we had last night,
Because now we wont have the next day,
Because it's over, what more can I say?
We used to have those smiles last time,
We used to walk and hold hands last time,
But now, you look at me like I've done some crime,
Now, all I have are memories of last time.
...
I remember that the sun had used to shine,
I remember that the happiness was all mine,
But now, I'm just lookin out at the rain,
Keeping in my heart all that pain.
What we used to be play in my head,
But you pressed the stop button out of your hate,
Please, tell me what did I do wrong?
Tell me why I'm here writing this awful song.
It was 4 in the afternoon, our first date,
20 dates later, you came late,
Candlelit dinners, valentine chocolates,
Cards and roses, love you's we said.
We used to have those smiles last time,
We used to walk and hold hands last time,
But now, you look at me like I've done some crime,
Now, all I have are memories of last time.
Oh I remember now, you were not there at all.
haha read and comment and tag.
anyways i will briefly talk about SE concert yesterday.
it was fun.
and i will remember it forever.
haha and i like the encore performance, very creative.
most importantly i will remember it.

See You In My Nightmares
"Let's get a drink."
West, Jack, Jay and the Girl were chilling out at the school canteen. It was after the level camp and they were all tired and sore. As the sun set across the field, Jack and Jay decided that time was running late so they left, eager to get home for some well-deserved rest. However, West and the Girl decided to take a walk around the beautiful campus and feel the ambience of dusk. They slowly strolled across the misty field and towards the container classrooms. They laughed, and talked and enjoyed the comfortable breeze.
But across the sky the clouds gathered.
There was no such thing as beautiful weather.
As the wind kicked up and sky turned dark,
The field became a cemetery, no longer a park.
But the two kept walking, past the containers,
Oblivious to the icy cold gust and the darkness that towered.
But as the classroom became an old shack and the grass to sea,
The two were not prepared for what they would see.
The water was black and the shack was old,
Their world was dark and the wind icy cold,
Stunned, they walked to the edge of the tiny cliff,
Marvelling at the scene they cannot perceive.
In an instant, the sky flashed bright.
The water rose to the heavens' height.
He grabbed her hand and won't let go,
But he found no warmth, only icy, stone cold.
He yelled and pulled but to no avail,
He panicked as the ocean rose to its tail.
He let go and ran to the little broken shack,
He turned to see but she didn't turn back.
All he could see was her hair in the wind,
Her big eyes shining but her face unseen,
She still clutched his jacket, looked just the same as before,
So beautiful, so cold, silhouette against the backdrop of the storm.
He shouted out loud but she didn't move a bone,
She just looked and stood as unmoving as stone,
As the ocean crashed and she disappeared under the waves,
All he could see was her watery grave.
The flood will destroy everything in its path,
Show the world the might of its wrath,
But a new power will surface and get back,
Its the force of his regret.
As the shivering West climbed up a tree and looked down at the ocean rushing around him, he looked back at the cliff and shouted her name till his lungs hurt. But it was now too late for her to hear, too late for his regrets, too late for anything to mean to him anymore.
"Often, we only truly appreciate someone or something only when they're gone."
"Let's get a drink."

His Mistake
Do I remind you of the pain
That he put you through, girl
Is that the reason I`m to blame
Before I do it
Is it because he, treated you badly
I always stand accused
Protecting yourself, from somebody else
I`m not the one who`s hurting you
And it`s killing me girl you compare me to him
Always guilty before the sin
I can`t win, I can`t win
I`ll do anything to prove
I love you
Baby girl would I refuse to
Pay for something I didn`t do
I love you, girl
But I refuse to stay
Paying for his mistakes
He left a scar across your heart
I understand, girl
Don`t let his wrongs tear us apart
Cause girl I`m your man
Just because he did
You swear I`m cheating
You think I just don`t care
Why must I do time
For another man`s crime
Girl you know that aint fair
And it`s killing me girl when you compare me to him
Always guilty before the sin
I can`t win, I can`t win
I`ll do anything to prove
I love you
Baby girl would I refuse to
Pay for something I didn`t do
I love you, girl
But I refuse to stay
Paying for his mistakes
I know he did you wrong
But tell me what does that have to do with me
Trying to show you something real
Figure out what is going on
Before you look up and I`ll be gone..
I`ll do anything to prove
I love you
Baby girl but I refuse
To pay for something I didn`t do, girl
I love you, and I love you I love you
I`ll do anything to prove
I love you

I'm not sure if you still come here anymore. But its only now did I realise that you were the real one. But its far too late to turn back. I have many regrets in life but this is one of the biggest and most painful. I am ashamed to turn away in fear of other things. But I'm sure that you felt something that time. But there's nothing left now. You hide in my prescence and I hide in yours. But the fact that you still respond to my prescence still makes me smile. But I regret. It took me such a long time to realise that that love, is the kind which lasts even after forever.

Broken Chardonnay, Shattered Love
West sat down on the bench, sweat dripping from his forehead. It had been a tiring training, and he was glad it was over. His teammates clattered around noisily, hefting bags and leaving for the showers. "Hey! Lets hit the showers, we don't wanna be late for the prom!" Jay said loudly. As the rest of his teammates trooped towards the showers, West remained behind and thought. He did not have to rush, neither of them had to. The ballroom was right beside the basketball court. And anyway, I have no date to rush to, West thought.
Jack stayed with West though. This loyal friend would stick by his side whatever happens. So after the noisy bunch was out of the gym, the duo took their turn. Jack walked with West to the ballroom. It was a short walk, so they were just in time, 7 pm. The sky was turning dark as the sun set on the horizon across the large flat field before the ballroom and gymnasium block. A cool breeze rolled in and the two of them inhaled the fresh evening scent. Jack looked uncomfortable in his long-sleeved, collared shirt and slim jeans, but he projected confidence all the same. Jack had to meet his date, Megan and hastily said goodbye to West, as rushed into the crowd already formed in the cavernous ballroom.
West sighed and settled down in an armchair in the corner of the dimly lit hall. He got himself a Chardonnay cocktail and sipped it thoughtfully. All his friends had dates and were enjoying themselves in the throng of enthusiastic students, eager to make the most out of this evening. He, in the meantime, had no one to dance with, let alone anyone to talk to, since everyone was engaged with their partners. But he endured it all the same, he could ask any girl for a dance though, but he decided to keep his firm word to his girlfriend. Or who used to be my girlfriend, West thought, slightly annoyed. West never liked too much attention, but he was popular because he was easy to get along with and had a great sense of humour. To add to that was his gentlemanly charming looks and equally, if not more, pretty girlfriend. But West knew looks were not the most important.
He glanced at the crowd, several couples were dancing already, as the DJ was playing an upbeat dance tune. As many laughed and joked around, West felt left out. He was usually in the middle of the throng, but not tonight. It made West feel sick looking at the dance floor from the corner of the ridiculously high-ceilinged hall, so he downed his drink the pushed the double doors open to go out the the second floor corridoor.
He leaned on the ledge of the corridoor and let the cool evening breeze ripple his casual black shirt. He just wished the time will be over soon. "So whatcha doing? You're not supposed to emo on this night," an incredulous voice asked. Jay was leaning on the ledge beside West, holding a fruit cocktail. "Ah well, I'm not in the mood," shrugged West.
"Where's your girl? Candice?" Jay pressed on.
"We're on a hiatus, she said we need to cool off for some time." West replied, annoyance creeping into his tone. He rarely got this annoyed.
"Well alright, chill dude. What happened?"
"I don't know if I did something wrong, but she don't seem to be so happy nowadays." West said. I wonder what she's doing now, West thought.
"Well ok man, I won't bother you anymore. See ya." Jay went back to the ballroom.
West sighed and glanced up at the sky. It was exceptionally dark and heavy clouds were gathering above the school. A strong gust kicked up and sent autumn leaves rushing through the corridoor. It bacame chilly, so West pushed back open the double doors and returned to the hall.
Almost everyone was on the floor now, except for a few outcasts reading books in a corner, West was amongst the only few people who werent enjoying their night with a date. He glanced up and down the crowd, trying to locate that familiar, calmingly pretty face. Where is she?
He settled back in the same chair and poured himself another Chardonnay. He was just starting to think again when he noticed the same pale blue medium heels she wore on their first date. He scanned upwards and saw her, in a simple, dark blue dress and her hair let down in wavy lines. He smiled, like he would always do when he met her. But Candice did not see him at all, in fact, she was looking into the eyes of her dance partner. It was Roy, one of West's good friends. West frowned and paused. The song ended and Roy and Candice pulled together. Even though the room was dimly lit and it was chaotic in the crowd, there was no mistaking the silhouette of a couple kissing passionately against the backdrop of dim crimson light and many other dancers. And they didn't stop there, that moment seemed to last for a century.
West dropped his glass.
He got up and strode to the doors, ignoring the slightly drunken beckons of Jack and Jay and some others. He pushed them open and walked quickly along the corridoor, and slowly broke into a run. It was raining outside, and dim lights shone from across the field, illuminating the school compound. I didn't see what I just saw. I didn't see what I just saw...
He pulled open the gym doors and collapsed onto the bench. He put his face in his hands, and thought, and thought. What did I do wrong? I kept my promise, I didn't go for any other date. What is happening?
He thought of all the times he had spent, and all that he had tried. He tried to laugh but he couldn't, he tried to feel but he couldn't, he tried to scream but he couldn't. He just sat there on the bench, in the eerily empty basketball court, just one wall away where people were enjoying themselves, having fun, betraying ...
Nobody would know what happened to him, and nobody would care, because who has the time to worry about a young man, drowning in self despair, sitting alone in the gym, when they have their friends, newly made partners, and music and drinks?
Nobody would know about West, and he would not know about anything else. He just thought, and thought, and thought.
What did I do wrong?
Eh this story is based on a dream i had, and its poorly written, since this is my first try at writing stories. Much more to learn =D. Anyways nothing much about today, except shivering when i think of this dream, those who want to know it in detail can come chat with me on msn, as its contents could probably contain you. haha sianning around. no more test, but tmr got some shit hsk. anyways have fun yalls, see yall.

The Celebration
It was suspense, as Ms Ling was about to read out the groups for the upcoming history project. Tensions were high. But it had to come. The first group was alright, seemingly normal. As the second group's name was announced, at the fifth name, it was the one which everyone wanted to hear, Bryan Chan, everyone, that is, besides the unfortunate people in the second group. It was a sight to behold. Thirty people rose as one in one gigantic standing ovation. People whose names havent been called were crying in joy, hugging each other, completely lost in the mirth of not having Bryan in their group. As the sun shone and life was changed for the lucky survivors. The unfortunate five froze in their world, unable or unwilling to accept the truth and their fate.
This moment will be captured forever, the golden, shining moment, as I rose and clapped and cheered with the others, the golden, shining moment, as I thumped my chest as I'm proud to be a survivor, the golden shining moment, as there won't be a Bryan Chan in my sight, in my group, in my life, for a while. That is more than anyone can ask for. Isn't it?

Wassup yall. Long time never post liao. Anyways tonight will be a short post.
Just wanna drop by here to talk about the morning flag raising, which is one of the most memorable ones ever, and i will remember it for quite a while.
Mr Sng was talking about the pioneer batch of A level ppl, obviously they did well, and we are in the TOP 5 yay! most best, i feel so proud! - -
Flashing the numbers and statistics on the powerpoint and all is normal of course, which school dosent want to boast about their most best academics?
But whats most best about the flag raising in the hall is the powerpoint, and the comparison with other schools. ESPECIALLY VJC.
Damn joke sia, for example, one slide is ...
H2 Distinctions is > 32.5% (something liddat)
This is better than VJC!
now that is a joke. put so big, then red font summore, wah dunman high scared their ppl run away ar? leash not strong enough, need put chains
and got more slides all liddat de, dunman high discouraging ppl from going other JC?
scared lose ppl ar?
anyways thats all i have to talk about for today, see ya some other time
