Tennis
Something interesting happened this friday, i first touched a tennis racket and first walked onto a tennis court...and of course...first played tennis...
Rather fun...and much more difficult than it looks like on tv...the court is a whole lot bigger than you think and it takes much more strength and control to play it...
JJ and me borrowed the rackets and balls from the pe dept. (so convinient), and had some fun for about half an hour...
Ok tennis is cool..and i'm picking up some basics...not that i'm going full into that but it is just an alternative sport and form of exercise other than the conventionals, sometimes too much bball is too much...lols...and soccer can be quite wearing sometimes...so why not try something not conventional at all? something which quite some ppl had never thought of trying?
Of course...we all know tennis is ..erm... more suitably played by the more suitably wealthy..eh...but its free to borrow rackets and balls from the pe room...so whats the big deal? heh...all we need is some time and hopefully a court to ourselves...and of course...time is important and jj and me are rather tight in the schedules...so with everything ...there is a price to pay eh?
Learning the basics is quite simple, there's a good range of tutorial videos on the basic yet important fundamentals on youtube...look for MrKronte in the search area and he has a whole range of instructive and comprehensive training vids on the basic serve, forehand, backhand, shot selection, court positioning, tactics and strategy and various types of shots like topspin and slice very clearly explained in detail but yet simple enough to practice with any similar racket at home in the small space of even my room!... so its useful and highly informative for basics...(like i said, having a bit of skill makes every game much more fun, especially if you do not spend more than half the time going to pick the balls which are rather badly played by your opponent and hopefully but not surely you..lols...) more challenge makes every game more fun...remember that now..
So play it or not its your choice, i'm just opening up another choice of sport for leisure and if you live in a condo or such its simple to book a court, but for me i have to rely on the school...(sometimes i really feel school is more leisurely and more fun than home((prison)))...
Of course, there are many other sports available for choice at the school and for free, basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, netball, tennis are just as much as those sports we play and can be offered to us...(with the exception of running) lols!
Tennis is fun, go try it, and from my sources it is likely we would be learning some basic tennis in the upper secondary levels...so it would not hurt to have some basics now and opening up another world of possibilities of an alternative leisure sport...haha...jj and me would be trying to find time to stay back and play if possible...so if you want a simple alternative other than your conventional sport, try tennis, whole new and fun! (look for MrKronte on youtube to find those good vids)
Service Ace
He looked at his opponent with murder in his eyes,
He checked his legs positioned just right,
With a smirk he tossed the ball high up against the sun,
He drove himself at the ball with all his might.
With a snap of his wrist from 7 to 1,
The explosion was just precise,
The ball was doing what it should have done,
Spinning towards the opponent with speed and concise.
The other had expected a flat one, but he was wrong,
The sudden drop of the topspin but him in a daze,
He tried to get it but it was too late,
He had given him a service ace.
"Let's not stick to conventions and you may just find another world."
"Only with basics and fundamentals, then you can proceed with complications."
"With challenge comes fun."

"Don't challenge those who are weaker than you, but those who are stronger."

New Skin II
Of course, not many of us are used to stuff like that, not if you had downed half a bottle of 12% alcohol red wine, (like me) and lived to tell the tale! ah excellent brew, i rmb last year...excellent..first time i drank so much and didnt feel a thing!
of course, by now you should have noticed i changed the skin..lols...please tag and comment thanks!
Today i won't be posting long as time restricts, so i am going on to the final points of the post.
Today continued The Island, from 2 weeks ago, excellent movie with a little gore, much violence, and some coarse language...excellent, with f**k, son of a b***h, sh*t and some others...violence include futuristic vehicles being crushed, amazing dumbbell power and crazy luck off a 70 storey building, of course, can't forget some nuditiy scenes(sadly some, not a lot) lols..and jiajian kept getting excited about that and kept saying "make out! make out!!" lols...
There's this angel mortal lame stupid thing...which gets many unhappy, worked up, impatient, violent and apparently, suspense...of getting those they do not want, or awaiting coincidence of getting those they want, of course, to that person you shall present a present(lols)...ah...can't get you one of the teeny items on your wishlist now mortal...i am sorry but i shall try...to get those HOUSE KEYS! and get outta my cell..
Previous mortals - sw, justin sim
Previous angels - kim siang, yan wen
Not bads...but kept re drawing..haiz...time wasters...and sorry yan wen for taking the candy..haha...thanks a lot anyways...=D
Alright...time's up, i'm off...

Reunion? 2008
I do look forward to a good money haul this year...but of course, nobody should get their hopes too high in case it does not fulfill what they desire...that includes you...who is used to plenty of loads of tons of money...but not me ~ the best moment is only when i feel the money between my fingers and the red material...then it is prompty ripped from the hands and stuffed into the bag...ah...such a quick yet beautiful moment.. ~ the feel of sweet cash beneath my fingers.. ~
Its an average of about $150 to $200 per haul i guess?...nothing compared to you of course...and i try not to relieve my memory last year...the unpleasant memory...but i have to share it to show how different CNY is to me than to you..
Exact Date Unknown, Chinese New Year, Day 1, 2007
He woke up in the usual morning, and went through all the usual routines like an automated robot, breakfast, morning clean up, as if following silent orders already planted deep inside his mind. It was Chinese New Year, and it was time to get all those red packets. But unlike other kids, this one was different.
His mother called him into the room after breakfast, and presented to him a red packet. Of course, he was delighted as this could only happen once a year, but he didn't know a nasty surprise lay waiting for him under the red paper, a surprise unlike other kids would ever receive.
He eagerly ripped the cover open, to reveal a single, green, five-dollar note. He froze, he had expected about 10 times that amount, due to a miserable $10 the year before, it could not have gotten worse, but now there was only half that amount.
He looked up at his smiling mother, and forced one himself, and turned to walk away, but before he could exit the room, the question burst out of him before he could control it. But this question is not what you expect.
"Where is Dad's?" he asked.
"Oh, it's already included in that $5." his mother hastily made up.
He nodded in grim disappointment and left the room.
After that, his dad returned home from work, quite unlike others, his dad still had to work regardless of holiday. He mustered all his courage and shot his dad a question.
"Erm, where is my red packet?" he feigned curiosity and innocence.
"Oh, erm..." he stuttered.
At this moment, his mother swiftly stepped into the scene and said, " It's included in the $5 i gave you, didn't you listen?"
"Oh, alright." he nodded.
As he added his pathetic $5 to his miserable collection of a few red packets under his pillow, by tradition, he felt, that he was more different from the others than he had ever thought, but still very same.
Relieved memory on 6th February 2008
I have said it, and there is no more need to explain.
...
On to other topics then...
Generally my lack of goodies and red packets is due to the lack of visitors and visiting, there's barely any people here for us to visit and receive except for some colleagues of them...but still, every cent is treasured like a hundred, but probably not in your case...
...
Alright...enough of all this "damn long and boring posts" WHICH INCLUDE EVERYTHING I HAVE TO SAY BUT NOT APPRECIATED OR EVEN CONSIDERED AT LEAST OR EVEN READ !
...
Shall i seize this chance to present another recent work of mine?
Wander, Wonder
Version I
I wander within the bounderies of my mind,
And yet I wonder if I am in your's.
I wander in and out of your sight,
And wonder when would you ever pick up my call.
I'm here, wandering in your street,
Wondering which of the hundreds of homes you are in.
I wander aimlessly with none to meet,
Wondering if not I was seen.
I wander across the void deck below your block,
Wondering if this was right,
Wandering around around the clock,
Wondering when you would come out, day or night.
I wander along your corridor,
Wondering if that's your door,
I wander across the moonlit floor,
Wondering if I should shout and call.
I wander through the shops alone,
Wondering which of the candy you would like,
Wandering amidst expenses that shone,
Wondering which that i could ever buy.
Wandering through the desserted school,
Wondering where to catch a glimpse of you,
Wandering past the silent pool,
Wondering what else i should do.
I wander along your hidden footsteps,
Wondering where you had gone,
Wandering in rounds of many laps,
Wondering when just you would come.
I wander amidst the shadows of night,
Wondering if this was right,
Wandering in and out of your sight,
Wondering if you had taken flight.
I wander about in my aimless mind,
Wondering if i am in your's,
I wander forever, day and night,
Wondering,
Wandering,
Wondering,
What more could happen if you just picked up my call.

Also, today i celebrate 2 years into the maple world, level 65, and still going =D
Many may ask or criticise that i am slow, well, two years is not really 2 years...2 years minus 2006 june holidays 1 month, PSLE isolation quarantine period 3 months, dec holidays 1 month, 2007 june holidays 3 weeks, exam isolation period 1 and half month, and the most painful of them all, weekday quarantine and weekends only, so divide the remaining value after subtracting all the months from 2 years, divide it by 7, and multiply it by 3, and thats the amount of days i play, and divide it further by 24, and multiply it by 3, so thats about it...about it la...
Thank you all who have supported me through my maple life.
Finally i would like to wish all a happy chinese new year, with the hope of the removal of ERP gantries to stop excessive rage and anger while driving, the removal of gst and slow down of economic progress to reduce price uprisings to ease everyone as its gong xi fa cai in the new year, and wan shi ru yi...
Wish you all the best in the new year of the rat, with much happiness and wealth and love...
Haha...
Goodnight.. ~
"Let's face the new year with a smile, if possible."

Daunted?...you wish...
There won't be no censored words now...cuz i wish to express the true anger behind those simple words...words alone can't say much now..
Oh yeah...keep suppressing me...keeping me away from the others all right...and don't give me a chance to speak up for myself...no fighting chance...daunted you think i am?...you wish you damn bastards...
Watch it...the clock is ticking...my nerve is failing...slowly but surely...something will be done about this damn thing...

"Too much of a good thing is never a good thing."
"There are too many generalizations in this damn world, for example, if you say sleeping at 11 pm is very common and nobody would not be assailed for it, thats for you, and/or many other happier and luckier ones, but not for me, no."
"Many fail to see how much different their closest friends are to them, but they merely assume they are of the same "kind".
